Announcing the 2014 Walter Roberts Award for Public Diplomacy Studies

The Master of Arts in Global Communication program, the Institute for Public Diplomacy and Global Communication, and the Walter Roberts Endowment are now accepting applications for the 2014 Walter Roberts Award for Public Diplomacy Studies. Graduate students who are in their graduating year and have taken courses in public diplomacy are encouraged to apply. First place will receive $1,000, with the potential for a second place of $500.

Students interested in applying should download and fill out the application which will ask for basic biographical information and the following:

  • Degree Program
  • Area of Concentration
  • GPA (overall and within concentration)
  • Public Diplomacy Courses taken and grades received
  • Other PD-related courses and grades received
  • PD-related work experience
  • Short essay (750 words max) describing the applicant's interest and experience in public diplomacy, and career goals.
