For Students

Welcome to the Master of Arts Global Communication program!

The Master of Arts in Global Communication is offered jointly by GW’s Elliott School of International Affairs and Columbian College of Arts and Sciences’ School of Media and Public Affairs.

This graduate program allows students to learn about public diplomacy and the global information environment. As future or advancing professionals in the field, students learn how to work in this environment and communicate effectively with audiences worldwide.

Here is more information about the Global Communication graduate program.

GC Students

are welcome to contribute!

The Global Communications program at the Elliott School is the perfect program for learning about a growing field which will be very important in the future and you can go pretty much anywhere with that knowledge and skill –the public sector or the private sector.

The best thing about the Global Communication graduate program is the ability to take classes from both the School of Media and Public Affairs and the Elliott School of International Affairs at the same time … which exposes you to different academic materials and also to faculty and other students with very different backgrounds and perspectives on many of the issues that we’re learning about.
