international exchanges and executive programs

In 2021, IPDGC administered the Distinguished Humphrey Fellows program for 15 senior media professionals from Central and Eastern Europe. The program was on Media and Disinformation; one week of executive training in communications and strategies to counter disinformation and another week of professional affiliation at U.S. think tanks, non-profits, government, media or corporate sector, to better understand how these organizations implement best practices in digital and media literacy and fact-based communication.

Foreign delegations have also attended IPDGC workshops to learn about U.S. media, current topical issues in U.S. Government, politics, and foreign relations, as well as participated in communications (spokesperson) training.
